RIGHTS program is committed to engaging partners and administrative leaders.

During a mobilization and awareness-raising lecture for young people (August 16, 2024) in the Muhala-Beleneneses neighborhood, in the city of Nampula, we had the special participation of Ms. Olga Malene, Governance and Civic Engagement Specialist from the Logos Program, a USAID initiative focused on strengthening local governance, implemented in the provinces of Cabo Delgado, Nampula, and Zambézia.

Olga Malene actively interacted with the community present at the lecture, as well as with the activists from the RIGHTS program. At the end of the event, she highlighted the importance of replicating these meetings so that more young people are aware of their rights and duties and can apply this knowledge in their daily lives, becoming increasingly economically and socially autonomous.

The neighborhood secretary, Mr. Aquichanquene Francisco, was also present at the lecture and praised the dynamism of the RIGHTS program in the community. The secretary encouraged the continuation of activities and reaffirmed the commitment to support the program, ensuring the necessary support within his area of jurisdiction.
